In so many ways, our worldwide corporate leaders are shaping our planet to a greater extent than our worldwide political leaders. Corporate entities decide who gets jobs and who doesn’t, who gets paid and who doesn’t, who gets paid more and who gets paid less. They decide what, how, and where those products will be made. They can shape the culture of entire communities with their footprint. Their ideals are spread to their employees and to the families and friends of their employees. With their relationships, and size, and resources, they influence governments and laws and regulations. And, even though nations print money, corporate enterprises control the flow of that money.

So, when it comes to the quality of our lives and the future of our planet, we depend upon the intentions and actions of not only corporate leaders but of every employee within those corporate entities. With that in mind, it is imperative that we educate our corporate citizens on the fundamentals of social responsibility within our industry.
