Anti-Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labor, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others. There are over 25 million people currently enslaved as either sex workers or laborers. Not at one time or throughout history, right now. That’s around four out of every 1,000 people on the planet! What’s more shocking is that both victims and consumers of human trafficking live and work in almost every community, rich and poor alike, even yours. It’s possible that you’ve seen and even come into contact with victims without even knowing it. We all need to be aware of this human trafficking epidemic and know the red flags that could help us save lives.
